Gene Dyer, 81 of Anderson SC passed away on March 27, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on May 4, 1933, he was the son of the late James and Permelia Dyer, the spouse to Eloise Osborne Dyer. He retired after 45yrs of service with Winn-Dixie and Ingles Market.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by brothers: JD and Royce Dyer, a sister: Gussie May Mayberry and a grandson: Jason E Payton.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter: Alice Dyer Chappell, and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel.
Visitation will be held from 1pm to 2pm prior to the service at the Mortuary.
The family will be at the home.
