Geraldine Chambers March 19, 1937 - June 3, 2025

Geraldine Thacker Chambers “Geri”, 88, of Mableton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Born on March 19, 1937, in Anderson, SC; she was the daughter of the late John Thacker and Louise Hughes Thacker.

She is survived by her children: Lee Chambers (Vicki), Debbie Huff (Herb) and Darlene Phillips (Al); grandchildren: Heather Norton (Chad), Ansley Pope (Keith), Elizabeth Berry (Derek), Jason Chambers, Shane Baker, Garret Brubaker (Lauren), Karli Brubaker, Harrison Phillips (Sandy) and Tanner Vanvorst (Liz); great-grandchildren: McKenzie Boggs (Trenton), Wesley Norton, Mitchell Berry, Brant Pope, Cheyenne Berry, Nicole Berry, Trinity Brubaker, Faith Baker, Trenton Brubaker, Eden Brubaker, Conner Baker, Aiden Lister, Odette Brubaker and Layla Phillips; great-great grandsons: Kolt Boggs and Kage Boggs and special close family friends: Ron Shaw, Liz Shaw, Andrea Rountree, Eric Rountree, Reagan Rountree and Reese Rountree.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband: Jimmy Chambers; brother: Roy Thacker and her sister: Mary Hill.

A graveside service will be held at New Silverbrook Cemetery on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00am.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
