Grace K. Gibson Beatty, 95, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday January 14, 2022.
Born in Anderson, SC, on June 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William B Kilgore and Etta Shelton Kilgore and wife to James E. Beatty.
In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by her daughter: Opie Cook (Cookie) and a son: Alan G. Gibson; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 23 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four stepchildren: Scott Beatty (MeShell), Melissa Jermyn, Michael Beatty (Dana), and Kristi Beatty; as well as eight step grandchildren.
Grace was the last member of her immediate family and in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her son: Arthur David Ange “Mr. Mom”; and a granddaughter Nicole “Nikki” Gibson.
