Harvey James Richardson, 85 of Anderson SC, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on February 27, 1931, in Newry, SC, he was the son of the late Simp and Alice Richardson. Harvey was in the car business for over 50 years, having opened his upholstery shop in 1957 here in Anderson. He was also an avid member of the Anderson YMCA.
He is survived by his son: Wayne Richardson, daughter: Polly Richardson, and nephew: Kevin Richardson.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son: Ray Richardson, and a brother: Ed Richardson.
Funeral services will be held at the Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 4:30pm with Rev. CW Hicks officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:30pm to 4:30pm at the Downtown Chapel.
The family will be at Richardson Motors.
