Jackie C. Smith, 70 of Anderson, SC, peacefully entered his Heavenly home the morning of Sunday September 21, 2014 with his family at his bedside. He faced death, just as he lived his life, with encouraging words for others and a gentle spirit.

Born on November 14, 1943 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Carlisle and Clara Smith.

Mr. Smith loved his church, Gethsemane Baptist Temple, where he served as a Trustee, Advisor and Usher for many years.
