James Allen Crawford Sr, 75, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on October 30, 1943 in Honea Path, SC he was the son of the late Clarence and Frances G. Crawford and the husband to Christiann Crawford. James was a maintenance technician and was retired from Electrolux after 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: James Allen Crawford Jr, Charles Allen Crawford, and Kevin Odom; daughter: Tracey Williamon; sisters: Mary Tucker, Diane Tucker, and Judy Elrod; 15 grandchildren; and step children: Mary Elaine Simpson, Ramond Edward Stovall, and Scott Charles Murray.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son: William Carlton Crawford, daughter: Teresa Crawford; and brothers: Charles Kent Crawford and Gerald Evans Crawford.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5pm – 7pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
