James Allen Hester, 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday November 20, 2024, at his home.
Born on February 11, 1946, in Lincoln Co, NC, he was the son of the late James and Elwona Hester and husband to Faye Ann Hester.
In addition to his Wife, Faye, James is survived by his Children: Allen Eugene Hester, Anthony Dale Hester, Angie King (Greg), Dwayne Duncan (Lesa), and Jesse Brian Duncan; as well as 15 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren and 12 Great-great Grandchildren.
James is preceded in death by his parents: James and Elwona Hester; and Siblings: Sam, Geraldine, Bobby, and Brenda.
Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Saturday November 23, 2024, at Bible Deliverance Church, 1631 US-29, Anderson, SC 29621, and will be officiated by Pastor Caroline Brown and Pastor Thomas Hart. Private interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at home but will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm, prior to the service, at the church Saturday.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
