James Hart, 88, of Belton, SC passed away on May 13, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Eugene and Verena Kelley Hart and was a retired textile worker. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during Korean Conflict and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his brothers: Millard Hart, W.C. Hart (Earley), and Franklin Hart (Ruth); and sisters: Ethel Mae McCoy and Sarah Pearson.
Services will be held at 11am on Friday, May 16, 2014 officiated by Rev. Tad Scarborough at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 6pm to 7:30pm at Sosebee Mortuary, Downtown Chapel.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
