James Phillip Claudson Jr., 57, of Starr, SC, passed away on Saturday April 6, 2024. James spent his professional life as an HVAC technician, a role he was dedicated to for many years.
He had a passion for going fast. He loved Nascar, go-carts, and racing in general. His favorite Nascar racer was the now retired Terry Labonte. Beyond racing, he loved to sing and share his voice with anyone who would listen, often singing at bars and on his karaoke phone app.
He is survived by his children, Katelin Claudson, Marie Claudson, and Candace Richardson (née Claudson), and six grandchildren. James was predeceased by his father and sister. He leaves behind his mother, one sister, and a brother.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
