James ‘Red’ Shirley, 78, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016.
He was married to the late Merry ‘Jaynie’ Shirley. Red had retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after 36 years of service.
He is survived by a daughter Miriam Reid; grandchildren: Robert Burdette (Tabby), Allison Mast (Justin), Ashley Garcia (Edson), and Abby Reid; also survived by a step-daughter Crystal Pepper and her children.
In addition to his wife, he is also preceded in death by his parents and a son Stephen Shirley.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 3:30pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel. Visitation will be from 2pm – 3:30pm prior to the service on Sunday.
The family will be at the home of daughter, Miriam Reid.
