James Tony Williams Sr, 71 of Iva SC went to be with Jesus on December 31, 2014.
Born in Anderson SC, he was the spouse to Evelyn Williams for over 43 years; he was Chairman of the Deacons, a Sunday School teacher and founding member of Going Through With Jesus Church.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by a son: James Tony Williams Jr; daughters: Tina Hughes and Tammy Fountain; brothers: Roger Williams and Terry Allen; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Going Through With Jesus Church at 300 West Poplar Street, Iva SC at 7pm on Friday, January 2, 2015 with Rev. Terry Allen officiating. Private family entombment will at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm prior to the service at the church.
The family will be at the home of Terry Allen, 404 E Green St Iva SC.
