James Wiley, 88, of Lowndesville, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
He was a faithful member of Lowndesville Pentecostal Holiness Church and a veteran of the US Army.
James was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Judy Wiley, of the home; daughters: Barbara Byrum (Charles), Brenda Wiley, and Judy Dodgins; brother, Jodie Wiley, Jr. (Judy); grandchildren: Charles Byrum Jr. (Melissa), Tammy Bridges (Mark), Bryan Johnson, Brandon Johnson (Jessica), and Anthony Hoskins (Peri); and great-grandchildren: Morgan and Madison Byrum and Allison and Braydon Johnson.
He is predeceased in death by his parents: Jodie and Sallie Wiley, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 3pm at Sosebee Mortuary, Iva Chapel, officiated by Pastor Scotty Willoughby.
Burial will follow at Long Cane Cemetery, Abbeville, SC, with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at Sosebee Mortuary, Iva Chapel, from 1:30pm – 3pm on Sunday.
