Jean H. Landes, 95, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.
Born on September 11, 1922, in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Edna B. Hostetter and the wife to the late Roy. E. Landes.
She retired from Singer in 1985 and was a member of Toxaway United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Jean Flemmons, Shirley Landes and Suzanne Campbell; grandchildren: Kim Briggs, Keith Gentry, Chris and Kevin Campbell; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by a brother, Max E. Hostetter and a grandson, John Allen Gentry.
Funeral services will be held at the church on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 2pm at Toxaway United Methodist Church with Rev. Freda A. Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 1pm to 2pm.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
