Jerry Lee Trotter, 80, of Anderson, S.C., a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, passed away on September 10, 2023.
He lived a rich and fulfilling life, leaving behind a loving family and a legacy of laughter and craftsmanship. Jerry’s dedication to his work at Owens Corning Fiberglass and his passion for woodworking and gift-making for his loved ones speak to his creativity and caring nature. His love for camping with his wife, Daisy, shows his appreciation for the simple joys of life and the importance of spending quality time with loved ones.
He is predeceased by his sons: Dale and Jamey Trotter; parents: Earl and Cassie Josephine Trotter; stepmother, Will Annie Trotter; brother, Grady, and sisters: Wilma and Marie.
Left to cherish the memories they shared together include his wife, Daisy; daughter, Cindy Watkins; son, Phillip Trotter; stepsons: Brian and Kevin Welborn; sister, Earlene Evans; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
His legacy forward, and his memory will live on in their hearts.
A memorial service will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Temple on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11am officiated by Pastor Sam Duncan. Military rites will be provided by the Campbell Patriots.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
