Jerry Wayne Roe November 23, 1942 - March 17, 2025

Jerry Wayne Roe, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Greenwood, SC on November 23, 1942, to the late A.C. and Bertha Deal Roe; he was married to the late Suzette Brooks Roe for over 48 years.  He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  Jerry loved golfing and JESUS and was known for his sense of humor.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his children: Robbin Moyer (Bill), Tina Dowdy, Sherri Roe, Michael Roe (Cynthia), and James Roe; brother, Delton Roe (Linda); sister, Laura Hill (Melvin); 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is also predeceased by a sister, Barbara Strickland.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 2pm officiated by Pastor Sam Duncan at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.
