Jimmy Lamar Latimer, 71, of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his home.
Born on October 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Margaret Bratcher Latimer. He was retired from Milliken and Michelin and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was very loved and well known as the Lawnmower Man.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Latimer; their beloved fur baby, Lil Girl of the home; his sons: Lamar Latimer (Angie) and Chris Latimer (Connie); a daughter: Krystal Latimer Roach (Shawn); his sisters: Wanda Chapman (Mike) and Sharon Agnew (Cecil); 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by a sister, Carol Bagwell, and a grandson, Justin Brown.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1201 Shady Grove Church Road Belton SC, officiated by Pastor Eric Boggs. Visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm with the service following at 4pm.
The family will be at the home.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
