Jimmy Ray “Beaver” Green July 3, 1954 - November 22, 2023

Jimmy Ray “Beaver” Green, 69, of Starr, SC, passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2023, in Anderson, SC.

Born on July 3, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert Walter Green and Bertha Lee Carey Green, he was a plumber for over 40 years with Youngs Plumbing and Electric.

He is survived by his son: Colby Ray Green (Louella); brothers: Michael Green and Wayne Green, brother-in-law: Jimmy Kelly; sisters: Marie Hall (Keith) and Susan McGill (Randy); grandchildren: Reagan Green and Samuel Green.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Doug Green; sister: Faye Kelly; sisters-in-law: Candy Green, Cathy Green, and Evelyn Green.

The funeral will be held on Sunday November 26, 2023, at 3pm at Iva First Assembly of God at 1205 Elberton Hwy Iva, S.C. 29655 with Pastor Charles Howell and Pastor Dale Cross officiating with burial to follow at Iva Cemetery.

The visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday November 26, 2023, at the church from 2pm to 3pm.

The family will be at his sister’s home Susan McGill.
