Joe Lamar (Jody) Cobb, 62, of Townville SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
He was a member of Townville Fire and Fork EMS in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and retired from West Point Stevens Clemson Plant.
He is survived by his wife Annie Porter Cobb of the home, sons: Teddy and Julie Cobb of Townville, Tracey and Rose Cobb of Belton, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Mother: Mary Ruth Shiflett Cobb of Townville. Sisters: Sue Brown of Anderson, Diane Masters of Townville, Frances McAister of Georgia, Peppy Lee of Long Creek; Brothers: Bobby Cobb of Seneca, and Kenneth Cobb of Seneca.
He is predeceased by his father: Joe Lee Cobb and father in law: Joseph Leonard Porter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 6pm to 9pm at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 3pm with Rev. Ricky Cates and Rev. Manley Shaw officiating.
