John David Whitt, 72 of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.
Born in Anderson SC, on November 30, 1942, he was the spouse to Kathryn Maureen Whitt and the son of the late David and Iris Mae Whitt. He was a former employee of Singer for over 25 years, retired from AnMed Environmental Services, and was a member of North Anderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by daughters: Denise Allen (James) and Mary Whitt Davis, brothers: William C. Whitt and Jimmy Whitt (Dorothy), grandchildren: Joshua David Allen, Kathryn Faye Davis, Hannah Noel Boreck, Brittany Rae Banister, and Preston Thomas Clinemyer, and a great-grandchild: Weston Scott Boreck.
Services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2pm with Rev. Floyd Stansell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the Mortuary on Saturday from 1pm to 2pm.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Mary Whitt Davis.
