So sorry to hear of John’s passing, I met John first in the mid 90’s and we immediately became best buddies. I went to school with his older brother Cecil. John was my best man in a wedding. He also introduced me to deer hunting and we spent several years enjoying each other and our favorite sport. our most favorite place to hunt was an apple orchard owned by Howard and Steve Moore, in Long Creek, South Carolina, which is now Chattooga Belle Farms. That was John’s most happy place to be. I lost track of John when he moved closer to Cecil somewhere near Anderson. He left me with wonderful memories that I will always remember. Rest in Peace Brother
