John Franklin Milford Jr., 72, of 2917 Plainview Rd, Anderson, SC, 29626, passed away on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, on September 28, 1941, he was the son of the late John Franklin Milford Sr and Evelyn Elizabeth Underwood. He was also a disabled Veteran, having served in the US Army and Navy.
He is survived by his son; John Michael Milford, Daughters; Cynthia Johnson and Tina Alexander, Sister; Patsy Brooks, grandchildren; Michael C Milford, Jennifer Milford, Bryan Alexander Jr., Danny Shirley and Johnny Shirley, as well as four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. on Saturday August 9, 2014 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Rev. Vance Touchton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of Mr. Milford and his daughter Cindy.
