January 2, 2025 at 6:18 pmJohnnie’s middle name was indeed “care”. She cared for so many including my father, William Donny. I am sorry I cannot come and pay my respects. She was a talented woman…sewing, carpentry, fixer of all things broken and always kept an immaculate home… oh, and a great southern cook! She was a nice companion to my father towards the end of his life. She took excellent care of him.

January 2, 2025 at 6:43 pmJohnnie was a blessing to our family. She was a loyal caregiver to my father, William F. Donny, for quite a few years. I came to appreciate Johnnie’s many talents, and her caring spirit. She could sew, upholster, build anything out of any material, and was a wonderful cook while keeping an immaculate house, and that’s just for starters! Johnnie always saw what needed to be done, and she did it! She loved nature, enjoying birds, flowers, and wind catchers.
Johnnie’s life was not easy, but she faced difficulties and sorrows armed with her determination, and deep faith. My family will always be grateful to her, and remember her with joy.
