Jonlee Chad Ricks, 44, of Belton SC, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023
Born in Belton, SC, he was the son of Hazel Buchanan Ricks and the late Johnny Ricks. He was an equipment operator and a brick mason.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his spouse: Sommer Shaw-Ricks; Brother: Chris Ricks; Sisters: Teresa Ricks Harris (Michael Strickland), Sonya Lynn Nimmons, and Gina Dawn Ricks; Nephews: Justin, Joe, and Derek Harris; Niece: Jasmine Garrett; and numerous great nephews and great nieces.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel officiated by Preacher Michael Harvell. Burial will follow the service at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm.
The family will be at the home of his mother: Hazel Buchanan Ricks.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

To Sommer and the rest of his family and special friends . Please keep y’all’s head up and be strong for one another . He brought alot of people together I seen . Prayers for u all .
