Joyce Ann Nix, 77, of Anderson SC, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on December 28, 1947, in Abbeville, SC, she was the daughter of the late William and Dessie Hembree Cartee. She was the wife to the late Henry Roger Nix.
Joyce was a beautiful soul who helped anyone she could and loved everyone. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who met her. May she rest in peace.
She is survived by her children Tracy Willimon, Charles Crawford, Tonya Green (Joshua) and Michael Loggins; grandchildren: Aron Hilton, B.J. Crawford, Amos Crawford, Justin Nix, Sean Suttles, Cristin Thrasher, Jacob Willimon, Gage Crawford, and Marie Loggins; 17 great grandchildren and a daughter at heart: Pam Webb.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm at the Mortuary.
A funeral service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 1pm with Pastor Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
