Juanita Devall Alewine (Nita), 74, of Anderson S.C., passed away June 25, 2026 with her daughters, Sonya Renee Driver and LaRhonda Lynn Alewine and their husbands, Brian and Joe, by her side.
Born and raised in Belton S.C., she was the daughter of James Franklin Devall (Jeff) and Edith Thompson Devall. She loved her pets like they were her own children. She also loved to watch her “stories” and westerns. The thing she loved most in this world was her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She especially loved calling or facetiming them at all hours of the night or day.
She is survived by her daughters, LaRhonda (Joe) of Anderson S.C. and Renee (Brian) of Iva S.C., 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Cecil Eugene Alewine, her son, James Eugene Alewine, her daughter, Ronda Darlene Alewine, her sister, Sharon Ann Kinard, and her parents, Jeff and Edith Devall.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
