Juanita Justice Pelfrey March 27, 1939 - November 11, 2022

Juanita Justice Pelfrey, 83, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022,

The widow of Robert “Bud” Pelfrey, she was born in Oconee County, SC to the late James Albert and Eva Rowland Justice.

Surviving are her daughters: Gail Whittaker (Andrew) of Anderson, SC and Patti Chasteen (Scott) of Honea Path, SC; grandsons: Dr. Brandon Chasteen (Mason) of Biltmore Forest, NC, Drew Whittaker and Jordon Whittaker (Allison) both of Anderson, SC; great-grandsons: Timothy Chasteen, Isaiah Whittaker, Jeremiah Whittaker and Lincoln Whittaker; and a sister: Penny Owens of New York.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her brothers: Cecil, Clyde, Crayton, Dan, Derrill, Glenn and Jewell Justice; sisters: Isabell Justice, Louise Meyer and Ruth Turner.

A private service will be held.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
