Karen Maree Carithers, 61, of Anderson, SC, passed away on June 14, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC on April 14, 1964, she was the daughter of Jesse L. Ball and the late Linda G. Ball. Karen loved her family and adored her granddaughter. She was outgoing, never met a stranger, and was sweet and kind to everyone. She had a passion for taking care of flowers.
She will be deeply missed by all that knew her including her husband of 40 years, James E. Carithers; her daughter Kaci Harrison (Nathan); granddaughter, Braylee Maree Harrison; and her sister, Gena Ball.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
