Kenneth “Ken” Frank Jordan, 72, of Anderson SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Born in Anderson SC on June 1, 1949, he was the son of the late Frank and Lois Jordan. He retired from Global floral, attended River of Life Church of God, was a former Pastor for Cedar Rock Church of God and Terri Acres Church of God, a Senior Adult Pastor for West Anderson Church of God and Associate Pastor for Townville Church of God.
Ken was of the Church of God faith and a minister for 49 years, he coached little league baseball and church softball for 20 years, loved Georgia Tech sports and the St Louis Cardinals. He loved fireworks at holidays, mountain trips and spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Ladd Jordan; sons: Christopher Kenneth Jordan (Kristy) and Jonathan Black Jordan (Shea); brothers: Dennis and Tim Jordan; grandchildren: Caitlyn Cintron (Justin), Madilyn Jordan, Bella Jordan and Morgan Jordan; great-granddaughter: Amy Maeve Cintron; Nieces: Misty Thompson and Nicole Ethridge; former spouse: Becky Furtick; best friends: John Daniel and family, Harold Morse M.D. and Rickey Capps.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Joel and Perry Jordan, as well as his sister: Sherry Ethridge.
A memorial service will take place at 3pm on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Lafrance Church of God officiated by Pastors Neal Hendrix, Dale Dyer and Mark Daniel.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church on Sunday from 2pm to 3pm.
The family will be at 244 Nautical Way Anderson SC 29625.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the River of Life building Fund.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
