Kenneth Malcom Dowdy, 64, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Thomaston, Ga on June 14, 1951, he was the son of the late James Edward and Gloria Dowdy and Rita Waddell. He was the spouse to Joan Dowdy.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by a son: Russell Dowdy and wife, Tammie; step-daughters: Lyn Weston and husband Tim, and Elizabeth Beasley and husband Adam; brother: Donald Dowdy; Diane Patterson and husband Barry, and 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 12pm.
Visitation will be held at the Mortuary, from 11am to 12pm prior to the service.
The family will be at their respective homes.
