Larry Marshall Floyd, 67, of Iva, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at his home.
Born in Oconee, SC on March 24, 1952; he was the son of the late Paul and Ruth Floyd. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Wamsutta Springs Industry. Marshall was a die-hard Dale Earnhardt fan, and loved hunting, fishing, racing, and going to Daytona Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby L. Floyd; sons: Larry, Chris, Mark, and Brendan Floyd; daughter, Tina Marie Blanding; sister, Katie Lockaby; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by sisters: Pauline Taylor and Patricia Glenn; and granddaughter, Kandyce Ferstl.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 officiated by Rev. David Blizzard at 3:30 pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
The family will be at the home and will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at the Mortuary from 2pm – 3:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Kindred Hospice.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
