Larry Starnes Jr, 68, of Townville, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on June 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Harrison Starnes Jr and Annie Nell Buttler, the husband to the late Elizabeth Ann Simpson, he was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Bikers for Christ.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Collins; step-sons: Chris and Don Simpson; brothers: Wayne Starnes (Fayette, AL), DJ and Michael Starnes (Seneca, SC); step-brothers: James and Johnny Plowman (Gordo, AL); sister, Elizabeth Ann Fisher (Gordo, AL); grandchildren: Cory, Jacob, Nick, Chandler and Tyler; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 12pm at Grace Baptist Church, Seneca, SC, with Rev Shawn Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 10am to 12pm.
The family will be at the home of his brother: DJ Starnes at 204 Yellow Jasmine Drive, Seneca, SC 29678.
