Linnie Ruth McCullough, 88, of Iva, SC, walked in the Faith and went to be with her Lord on Friday March 25, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, on July 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Linnie Ashworth Whitman. Linnie Ruth was a member of Iva Church of God, a Sunday School teacher, and a special singer. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her Son: Symmes McCullough (Cynthia); Daughters: Wanda Hulme (Carey) and Terri Grey; Daughter-in-law: Mildred Mobley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandkids, great grandkids, and a great-great grandchild; and close family friend Cynthia Grey.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Sons: Ray and Alvin Mobley; Brother: Alvin T. Whitman, Donald Ray Whitman, and Mickey Whitman; Sister: Willie Kate Phillips; Grandson: Jake Waters; and Niece: Joyce Lewis.
