Lucien “Lou” Arigo, 79 of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016.
Born on April 28, 1937, he proudly served 20 years in the US Airforce where he retired to Anderson in 1974 and worked for over 25 years at BASF.
After retirement, he enjoyed working in his yard and volunteering at PAWS.
He is survived by his daughters: Donna King, Cheryl Elijah, and Karen Chambers; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a daughter: Nancy Lewis, one brother, and two sisters.
Funeral services will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel from 12:30pm to 2:00pm.
The family will be at the home of the daughter Karen Chambers.
Memorials may be made to PAWS, Anderson County Humane Society or Upstate Animal Rescue.
