Lucille B. “Granny” Scott, 97, of Starr, SC passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at her home.
Born on January 29, 1923 she was the daughter of the late George Blume and Gertrude Fisher and the wife to the late Rudolph Scott. She will be remembered as a wonderful grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Davis (Frank), Diane Bunch (Mike), Jo Crumley, Sammy Scott (Deborah), Sherri Keaton (Cotton), and Barbara Keaton; brother: Wade Blume; sister: Patsy Heaton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her children: Martha Fields, Ronnie Scott, Donald Scott, and Vicki Moore; 2 brothers; and one sister.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Sosebee Mortuary, Iva Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Jason Hickey. Private burial will take place at Iva City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30am – 2pm, at the Iva Chapel.
The family will be at the home.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
