Major Laylon Latham, 78, of Anderson, SC passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on November 19, 1940 in Iva, SC he was the son of the late Boss and Mary Latham, was retired from the SC Department of Transportation and was a member of the Iva Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter: Tracy Carr; sisters: Reba and Lillian; grandchildren: Dylan and Charli; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Gene, Robert, Dwaine, David, and Rudolph; and sisters: Elizabeth and Lonetta.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
The family will be at the home.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
