Mamie Christine Taylor January 1, 1955 - December 30, 2023

Mamie Christine Taylor, 68, of Belton, SC, passed away on Saturday December 30, 2023.

Born on January 1, 1955 in Abbeville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Chalton Powell and Lizzie Mae Willoughby Powell, she was the widow of the late Tommy Taylor. Mamie was loved and respected by all that knew her. She will definitely be missed.

She is survived by her children: Tommy Danny Taylor (Amanda Nichols), Herbert Donald Taylor (Stephanie Taylor), and Tanya Taylor Ashworth (George Ashworth); grandchildren: Ashley Ashworth, Kinsley Taylor, Brandon Ashworth, Austin Taylor, and Maddison Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel on Wednesday January 10, 2024, at 3pm.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday January 10, 2024, from 2pm to 3pm at the mortuary.

The family will receive visitors at the mortuary.

Mamie will be laid to rest at Symyrna Cemetery, Lowndesville, SC.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family.
