Marilyn Bryant Thompson April 5, 1958 - March 23, 2023

Marilyn Bryant Thompson, 64, of Belton SC, passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Born on April 5, 1958, in Greenville SC, she was the daughter of Johnnie Mae Bryant and the Late Jessie Bryant. Marilyn had a love for flowers, but her greatest love was her love for her family, daughter, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her mother. She described her family in her favorite song “You Are My Sunshine.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter: Melissa Bryant Edens; sisters: Linda Bryant Garrison (Gene) and Hazel Bryant McCall; grandchildren: Corey Joseph Bryant, Breanna Elliott and Ashtyn Grubb; great-grandchildren: Lily Elliott and Brikson Elliott and her sister-in-law: Cindy McCall Bryant.

In addition to her father, she is predeceased by two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 3pm officiated by Minister Stacey Crary.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Melissa Edens.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
