Mark Anthony Smith, 56, of Belton, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home.
Born in Anderson on September 19, 1967 he was the son of Patricia Anne Howell and the late Joe Pressley Smith, Jr. He was a former roofer by trade.
He is survived by his sons: Jacob R. Nix (April) and Christopher Gibson; daughter, Crystal Sanders (Nathan); sisters: Joey Denise Burroughs, and Pamela Webb; grandchildren: Nicole, Olivia, Scarlett Nix, Nicholas Tankersley, and Ava Sanders; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces.
In addition to his father, he is also predeceased by a brother, Wesley Alan Smith; and a sister, Kimberly Dawn Queen.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel at 3pm officiated by Pastor Monroe.
The family will be at the home of his mother, 532 Griffin Road, Belton, SC.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
