Marshall C. Brock, Sr., 75, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Ason and Mary Freeman Brock and married to the late Othella Brown Brock. He was a Veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his son Marshall Brock Jr. (Beverly); daughters: Mary Whitfield (Stevie) and Carolyn Skelton; step-son Dallas Smallwood; sisters: Barbara Brown, Pauline Davis, and Shirley Wheeler; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife; he is also predeceased by 2 brothers; and 1 sister.
Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 officiated by Rev. Furman Martin at Sosebee Mortuary, Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
The family will be at 4721 Hwy 413, Iva, SC and will receive friends at Sosebee Mortuary, Downtown Chapel, on Monday, August 18, 2014, from 6pm – 8pm.
