Martha Faye Owen, 83, of Williamston SC, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Born in Greenville, SC, on March 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Kirtsey and Bessie Heaton Bryant, and the wife to the late Wayne Owen. Martha was a wonderful Christian mother and grandmother who’s pride and joy was her family. She worked full-time while caring for her grandchildren, made excellent home-cooked meals, and ensured holidays and birthdays were memorable. She cherished her trips with her best friend Patty, was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughters: Rhonda Weldon (Billy) and Karen Babb (Chip); grandchildren: Alex Hicks, Kayla Cason (Luke), Bailey Babb, Tyler and Trevor Babb and her great grandchildren: Riley Hendrix and Braeden Cason.
Martha will lie in state on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 3pm to 5pm at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, 3219 S Main St Anderson SC 29624.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Greenville Memorial Park.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
