Marty D. Elrod, 43, of Anderson, SC, passed away on May 16, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Linda Gale Wright and Kenneth D. Elrod.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son: Justin; Daughters: Tessa and Holly; Brother: James; Sister: Traci; Aunt: Dale Brooks Brown; Uncles: Randy Speers and Kevin Wright; Cousins: Hannah, TJ, Lynsay, Marshall and Brandon; and Best friend and caretaker: Julie Rae Brown Ramsey.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers: Elizabeth Brooks and Gertrude Kay.
A memorial service will be held at 4p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Labor of the Fields Church.
The family will be at their respective homes.
