Diane Whitfield, 71, of Fair Play SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on March 23, 1951, in Anderson SC, she was the daughter of Mary Eunice Smith Saylors and the late Robert Thomas Saylors.
Diane was a wonderful wife, mother, and nana. She was full of life, fun loving and loved the outdoors, camping, the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years: Michael Whitfield; children: Amy Kelley (Steven), Tracy Grant (Jason), Dara Jordan, Shane Whitfield and Josh McAdams; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she is predeceased by a brother: Steven Saylors.
A service will be scheduled at a later date.
The family will be at the home of her mother, Mary Saylors.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
