Michael Randolph Moseley, 73, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born August 7, 1951, to the late Rev. Charles William Moseley and Hilda Horne Moseley.
Mike graduated USC in 1973 with a degree in accounting, but finance was not where his heart was. He started Quality Seal and Stripe in 1988 and quickly became Anderson’s go-to for parking lots and driveways. In 2017, with the birth of Moseley Bros Asphalt, Mike continued to work for sons, Wes and David until his mind would no longer allow him.
Mike was a true character, with a contagious laugh and several “Mike-isms”. His unspoken mission was to make sure every interaction with someone improved their day, whether that was a stranger, friend, or family. He lived out loving God and others.
Along with his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his older brother, Ronnie Moseley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Moseley, children; Michael Moseley Jr. (Laura), Wes Moseley (Kristin), Lori Anna Moseley, David Moseley (Khristena), Juliann Moseley, Kerrin Morris (Jason), and Russell Moseley, their mother, Mona Ruth Moseley and stepdaughter, Ashley Hager. Grandchildren; Will Moseley, Presley Hager, Joseph Moseley, Rebecca Moseley, Stevens Moseley, Sawyer Kate Moseley, Helen Morris and Edward Morris. And a host of friends, as Mike never met a stranger.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 26, 2025, at 11:00 am at Middleton Road Baptist Church, 1705 Middleton Road, Anderson, SC 29624.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00.
A special thanks to Pruitt Hospice who helped provide such wonderful care to Mike in his last months.
