Nancy “Granny” Lollis, 76, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Enoree Parker Bridges, and the wife of the late Billy E Lollis. Granny was a devoted mother whose love extended beyond family; she was the former owner and operator of J&J Restaurant and Granny’s Restaurant, where the customers were treated like family.
She is survived by sons: Darryl “Diddle” Lollis (Sherry); daughters: Nancy Richey (Danny), Vickey Shiflet (John), Sherry Woolbright, and Darlene Brown; sister: Betty Ruth Medlin; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her beloved pets: Red, Dixie, and Sweet Pea.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sons: Billy E Lollis Jr, Rickey L Lollis, and Barry D Lollis; 2 brothers; one sister; 3 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Reverend Dale Cross. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6pm – 8pm at the South Chapel. Burial will follow the service at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the residence.
