Norman Jack Bundy, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Norma Kathryn Bundy; his children, Beth McGinniss and husband Mike; J. Scott Bundy and wife Lucrecia; and Lee Bundy and wife Lisa.  He also leaves his 5 grandchildren Allison, Michelle, Kelly, Austen and Jack.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of George and Winifred Bundy (Neuschmidt) graduated from Avon Lake in 1952 as a three sport letterman (football, baseball and basketball).  He joined the Marine Corp in 1954 and earned an honorable discharge in 1956. He married the love of his life, Norma, in 1959 and they had their 3 children in Avon Lake before moving his family to Randolph, NJ and furthering his career with BF Goodrich Chemical Corporation.  After a successful 35 year career with BF Goodrich, he and his wife moved to Anderson to finish his career with RJF International as a successful salesman.

During his lifetime he was a 60 year Master Mason (Dever Lodge) and member of the Salaam Temple, Shriners Clown Unit in New Jersey.

In his retirement he was active within his Stone Creek Cove community and one of the original members of the Marine Corp League.  He held several positions including Judge Advocate and Honor Guard.  He was also an avid sportsman to include golf, hunting, fishing and boating.

A memorial service with military honors is scheduled at 11:00 on Saturday, August 24,2019 at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
