Ophelia C Harbin, 90, of Anderson, SC passed away on Monday October 2, 2023, at her home.
Born on January 11, 1933, in Oconee, SC, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Cartee and Ruby Hanks Cartee and was the wife of the late Bill L Harbin. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son: Matthew Harbin; daughter: Sharon Harbin; grandchildren: Ryleigh Harbin, Zac Scoggin, Grace Ebbing; god-daughters: Janet Scoggin, Donna Ebbing, Robin Strickland; god-son: Steven Strickland.
The funeral will be held at the Sosebee South Chapel on Thursday October 5, 2023, at 2pm with a private burial to follow at New Silverbrook.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the Sosebee South Chapel on Thursday October 5, 2023, from 1pm to 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family.
