Ouida Mae Shiflet, 78, of Anderson SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
Born on July 20, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Wesby and Rosa Leigh Burton and the spouse to the late Hubert Owen Shiflet.
She is survived by her sons: Tim Shiflet and wife Tammy and Steve Shiflet and wife Renee; twin sister: Juanita Elliott and husband Robert; sisters: Camilla Haggerty and husband Ricky and Cindy Stone and husband Kenny; brother: Ronnie W. Burton and wife Brenda; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and she was Nannie to many Connie Maxwell Girls.
Funeral services will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 3pm with Rev. Early Tucker and Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Viewing will be held prior to the service at the Mortuary from 2pm to 3pm Sunday.
The family will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.
