Paris Wilbanks, 86, of Iva SC passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paris Wilbanks , You taught me how to fish and Turkey hunt, you always were a good friend and roll model, genuinely a good person ,always kind . One of my favorite Things is a turkey call that Paris made its always been my favorite box call. The people who got to meet Paris were very fortunate. He was the best at about everything he did. I watched him hunt, fish, tie flys, Throw knifes , shoot , grow things, the list goes on and on , but the thing I noticed most was his Love for Cindy and his daughters. When I read he was 86 I couldn’t believe it , that means when he and I was running up and down hills chasing Turkey’s I was 31 and he was 50 years old. I thought this whole time he was about 5 or 6 years older than me . So you can add amazing athlete to the list of things he was amazing!! And he loved the Lord.
