Pat Reid September 13, 1942 - June 18, 2025

Pat Reid, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on September 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruby Hayes and wife to her loving husband, Charles Reid Sr. Pat was a lifetime and devoted member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a member of Neals Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her Children: Elaine Phillips, Susan Reid, Charles Reid Jr. (Barbara), Tammy Ellis (Mitchel), Bobby Reid (Helen), and Willie Reid (Tina); her Brother: Howard Hayes (Pam); Grandchildren: Chris, Brooke, Bray, Adam, Hannah, Abby, Isaiah, and Amiah; as well as 12 Great-grandchildren.

Pat is also preceded in death by her Sister: Louise Fowler.

How do we say goodbye to the person that has always taken care of everyone she knew? Pat had a long full life and poured her love into her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews. We are all the better for having had you in our lives.

We love you and will miss you dearly. We are not going to say goodbye, we will see you soon.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday June 23, 2025, at Neals Creek Baptist Church, 3204 Amity Rd, Anderson, SC, and will be officiated by Pastor Jason Dorriety. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm Monday, prior to the service, at the church.

The family will be at the home of Pat’s daughter, Elaine.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Neals Creek Baptist Church in Pat’s name.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
