Patricia Catherine Dowswell of Anderson SC passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
Born on January 27, 1962 at Fort Bellvoir, Washington DC, she served her country in the U.S. Army, had degrees in Criminal Justice and Nursing. She loved Jesus and listened to the 3PM Prayer Hour on the radio each day. She was known to be very generous with her time and resources to those in need, even a perfect stranger.
She is survived by a son: Stephen Dowswell, sister: Karen Cox and a very special niece Laura Smith.
She is predeceased by her parents.
A graveside service will be held with Military Rites at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Monday, March 10, 2015 at 1pm with the Rev. Lawrence Webb officiating.
Visitation will be held at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel on Monday, March 10, 2015 from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
